Our Moplen and Pro-fax polypropylene homopolymer grades are selected by customers for use in a variety of hygienic nonwoven applications such as baby diapers, feminine hygiene, adult incontinence and personal care items.
LyondellBasell’s polypropylene resins can be used in spunbond, melt blown and staple fiber processes, and can be used to produce all types of nonwoven fabrics, composite fabrics and SMS configurations. These resins address customer needs for fine titre, high tenacity, light basis weight, softness and excellent water columns for high barrier performance.
Other performance benefits include product homogeneity, high output capability and reliable spinnability. For customers requiring superior mechanical performance and downgauging options, Metocene metallocene-based resins are offered.
