Flexible food packaging film produced using polyolefins can deliver excellent cost/performance attributes in the preservation of filled goods. LyondellBasell’s polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) resins, based on world-class technologies, are the preferred materials used in the production of flexible film for film-forming, low temperature sealing and hot-fill applications.
Customers choose our resins’ for their value-based performance, including:
- Cost-effectiveness
- Easy to process, fill and transport as tubular or multi-seal bags
- Preserves perishables against environmental and microbiological impact over long shelf life
- Reclosable spouts and other aids possible, offering high functionality traditionally found in rigid packaging
According to customers, LyondellBasell’s state-of-the-art resins offer excellent transparency or matte finishes in either colored or clear applications.
